Brian Mogg

In 2011, Hilton HHonors member Brian Mogg was named Director of Instruction at the Waldorf Astoria Golf Club at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando in Orlando, FL. Recognized as a Golf Magazine Top 100 Golf Instructor and one of Golf Digest's 50 Best Teachers in America, Brian has been a dominant force in the world of golf instruction. His students have won over 20 professional tour events including Y.E. Yang's 2009 PGA Championship.

An All-American at Ohio State University, Brian won the Ohio Amateur Championship before making his way to the professional tour. He spent ten years playing professional golf and three years on the PGA Tour. He finished 2nd at the 1988 Sanderson Farms Classic, took 3rd in the 2001 Callaway Pebble Beach Invitational and participated in the 1995 US Open. Additionally, he garnered six top 25 finishes on the Web.com Tour as well as top 10 finishes in 11 countries while competing internationally.

Brian can be seen on television providing instruction on such shows as The Golf Channel's "Academy Live" and "Your Game Night". He is also a guest writer and regular contributor to Golf Digest, Golf Magazine and Asia Golf Monthly.

The Waldorf Astoria Golf Club is the home base for the eight Brian Mogg Golf Academies located around the world. Brian currently resides in Orlando with his wife and four children.

Hilton Worldwide signs Tyrrell Hatton Sponsorship

Hilton Worldwide has announced a sponsorship deal with young UK golfer Tyrrell Hatton, commencing this week at the Abu Dhabi Championship (January 15-18).

During his rookie year on The European Tour in 2014, Tyrrell produced one of the best ever debut seasons with five top 10 finishes. Most notably he challenged at the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai where he finished in a very impressive 6th place.

The agreement will see the Hilton logo featured on both Hatton's cap and golf bag during the 2015 season at all European Tour events. The sponsorship of Tyrell Hatton complements the recent three-year global supplier agreement signed with The European Tour. The initial arrangement will see Hilton host Tour staff in its many properties that have proximity to events taking place across the world, particularly in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. It will see also Hilton advertising on The European Tour's various channels, including europeantour.com.

Speaking of the partnership, Tyrrell said: "I'm thrilled to be teaming up with a brand as prestigious as Hilton for The European Tour 2015. It promises to be an exciting season and it's a real boost to be teeing off backed by a global organisation renowned for providing excellent facilities and courses for players of all levels to enjoy."
